TrusMT or Lanparte Matte box for 4mm thick filters?

I wanted to pick up a decent, but lower priced Matte box and I've narrowed it down to either TrusMT or Lanparte. I'm open to other suggestions as well.

Both hold 4x4 filters, but I believe that TrusMT recommends using 3mm thick filters in their trays, but industry standard is about 4mm. I've read somewhere that 4mm thick filters can be used on Trusmt, but the tray does not hold them well and you have to be careful when removing them.

Can anyone verify this?
