Is this possible?

The only options i get are: Normal, letterbox and squeeze...

This is after doing the following:
- Setting the HVX to DV with the button on the rear end of the camera.
- Entering the meny true the button on the top of the camera.
- Entering the sub-meny called "aspect ratio" or something almost identical to that "title"...

Sorry for sounding like a newbie, but I am an Canon XL2 owner and got this camera trown in my hands for an event I am shooting in about ten hours... So I am a little bit stressed up right now...

Anyone?

Its in the manual...

Its in the manual...

See page 44 of your manual...

Normal = 4:3
Letterbox = 16:9
Squeeze = horizontal squeeze to get 16:9 affect on compatible widescreen TVs

cheers.

See Barry's book page 144:
"In the HVX200 squeeze is the full-frame, full-width, full-height, higest-quality image you can get, and it's natively 16:9."
