I'm on Windows 8.1 and currently using IE11.

I see loads of problems trying to type in the compose message or reply to message boxes. Loads of characters are simply missed. Particularly typing faster.

Wonder if it's something to do with spell check?

this is what happns if I type at normalspeed and don't stop to go back and correct mistak

Very frsrating - any ideas anyone?

Ah, I think I found the problem but not actually fixed yet - it seems to be Windows 8 spell check options - I didn't realise that Windows 8 has a spell check integrated into IE11. I wonder if it's conflicting with this Forum software? I turned spell check off but it's still happening. Firefox is OK though.

This is still happening a lot for me. It is quite a mess trying to type as it seems too sluggish to keep up with my hunting and pecking! Thanks.

There are also a lot of problems using the site on an iPad. Very often I get duplicated first characters when typing in a reply box and when editing a post, the iPad keyboard disappears after every character. Very frustrating. Not sure if the forum software used is updated regularly enough? I would have thought bugs like these would get fixed in most commercial or widely supported free forum software.

Count me in on the problems. Barry's a/A workaround seems to help. It's very frustrating on a VERY fast system with w7 Pro / IE 11 and almost impossible on my little Dell Venue tablet with w8 / IE 11.

Anyone??

Hate to necro-bump....but new PC. Win 8.1, IE11 and experiencing the same issues. No alternate browsers on this machine (yet).

Same here. Vowels get left out - words spelt wrong etc - Windows 7 and IE

Does anyone at DVXUSER care about this??? I know they're probably using some open-source software and may not be technically able to address the problem themselves but someone has to "own" the code. I dislike sites that don't work properly with the default MS web browser since that's what every Windows user starts with. If the site is designed for Chrome then just say so, otherwise please find a way to fix this annoying problem.

Regardless, thanks for being here DVXUSER!

(And I'm experiencing this problem even as I type this!)
