Trouble with Novoflex Adapter

I am trying my first non-micro four thirds lens, and I'm having trouble. I purchased a novoflex micro four thirds / Nikon adapter and a Nikon lens, but I'm seeing nothing on the display. It is completely black. The lens cap is off, the lens aperture is all the way open. If I put my micro four thirds lens on it works fine. Can anyone tell me if there is anything I might have done wrong? Thanks for any help.

Hey Dude,

I own the novoflex, and the sigma 17-50mm 2.8 and the tokina 11-16mm f2.8

Your iris is closed all the way, also make sure the adaptor clicked in the lens all the way, and into the body as well.

the blue ring on the adaptor is your iris control.

turn off LENS CHECK in the OTHER FUNCTIONS menu.

Look at the Sticky section at the top of the forum.
