Trouble with Log and Transfer

I recently tried to log and transfer in Final Cut Pro 6 like have done a hundred times and the footage, in fact all my footage I've shot: even P2 footage straight from my HVX200, is idle when I drop it in the log and transfer queue. I searched the internet for possible solutions but haven't found anything that's worked yet. I even re-installed my entire Pro Studio 2 without any luck, the same problem: drop footage in and nothing happens, statement reads "1 clip queued - idle" I don't what else to do, I've never had a problem with this before until now. Does anyone have a suggestion for this problem, I would greatly appreciate some advice. Thanks.
 
I had this same problem. It just popped up out of the blue. I trashed my preferences and the problem went away. I often find this is a quick fix for many FCP issues.
 
i have this problem currently.... and trashing the preferences did not work.... does anyoen have any advice? how can i get my hvx footage onto my computer!

Detail what you are doing to mount the card and ingest the footage, including version numbers of OS and FCP.

Also which computer, etc.
 
I am also having this problem.. I have a macbook pro with OS 10.6, and FCP 6.0

I'm using my hvx200 as the card mount, connected to my computer via firewire. I can preview my footage in the log and transfer window, but it will not transfer into fcp. I drag the clip into the box and it just says "1 clip queued - idle"

Any help would be MUCH appreciated!
