Trouble with Captured Audio on FCPro

When I capture video from my DVX 100 into Final Cut Pro the audio and the video are no longer synchronized... sometimes they are off by a second or more. There is no problem with the recording itself, I can use a different Mini DV camera to capture the same tape and it will work fine. It is also intermittant, sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't. I would assume this is a common problem, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. Any suggestions?

If it's dvx100 (not 100a) you should be running the tool to offset the 2x sync issue. But yours sounds like a lot more.
Are you playing video and audio to same output? (computer or video monitor)
When playing back on DVX is it in sync? Was it shot at 16bit 48k? Is your capture set to the same?
Is your disk close to full 1gig or less or slowing down for something?
