Hi. I am trying to finish up an old 24p project. (not 24Advanced) Here's my goal. I'm trying to simply capture my footage correctly so that it removes the pulldown and makes it play progressively at 23.976 in a 23.976 project (Standard Def) This footage was shot with the DVX-100A back. I have done everything properly explained but no matter what my Avid keeps bringing in every frame and not effectively capturing it and correctly pulling out the extra frames. So when I look at it in the monitor it shows me all the frames... even the interlaced ones. Any clue on why my Mojo is not pulling out the frames? I have tried to capture on another system without the Mojo and it does the same exact thing.
So I'm beginning to think it is my version of Avid Media composer v.2.5.0. If so is there a solution. By the way I am trying to capture with a first generation Mojo over firewire with a Panasonic dv camera.
My system is a Quad G5 2.4 GHZ and running OSX 10.4.11.
