Trouble hooking up a monitor ...

Hi guys... I'm new here... in fact I just bought a DVX200 a couple days ago and have been playing with setting at home before using it at work...
I'm used to a Canon 5d Mk 3 which I have on rails for video work hooked up to a 24" ViewSonic VS15562 HDMI 1080p LED LCD Monitor ...
I would like to continue using this monitor ( I think ) but I'm having trouble getting a signal to it from the DVX200... I've gone over every menu setting
and looked in this forum and everywhere I can think of for help... Any advice would be greatly appreciated ...

I will eventually get a external 7" recording monitor to record 10Bit 4:2:2... but for now, I'd like to use this ViewSonic...
 
That is a computer monitor, not a video monitor. It only supports 1080p60, so if you're shooting at 1080p24, it won't be able to process the signal.
 
It's also not a 4K monitor, so unless the DVX200 can output HD while shooting 4K, there's not much you can do.

If you can get 1080 out, then a converter like the MD-HX will change the frame rate for you.
