Trouble editing 60p gh1 footage on Win 7 64bit Vegas Pro 9c

I finally made the leap and formatted my c drive and put in a faster caviar black drive an Win 7 64 bit ultimate.

I love it... it boots from power button to log in screen in 22 seconds. My old vista ultimate took like over 2 minutes.

Now I am reinstalling software trying to get the 64 bit versions of everything.
I got vegas pro 64 bit installed but on importing some Gh1 avchd 60p clips... I am getting some weird issues.... kind of a color flashing glitch on some clips.

I love how Win 7 can play the avchd clips natively... they all look great (MUUUUCH better than vlc) and I don't see glitches playing them back in win media player, but when editing in vegas pro 64 bit I am seeing them in about 50% of the clips. Random fluttering like a frame or two of dark ugliness then back to normal...

Since there is no preset for gh1 my settings are as follows:

Custom:

W 1280
h 720

Fiel order: none
pixel aspect: 1.0000 (square)
rotation 0 (original)

Frame rate 59.940 (dounle ntsc)

pixel format 8 bit
full res rendering quality (best)
motion blur type gaussian
Deinterlace method: none

ruler: 29.97 drop frame

Am I missing something?

Really? I heard there was some new errors with 9d so I avoided it, and I didn't have this issue at all with 9c 32 bit on win vista.

Just downloaded the 64bit 9d update and I'll be darned you're right it seemed to fix it.

I still seem to be having a little issue with the proper way to conform gh1 720 60p files out to 24p. I have read a few different rundowns of how to set it up but it is still looking way to stroby choppy to me. I know it's not as good as shooting 1080 24p and removing pulldown but I have seen others where it does not look as choppy.

I disable all the resampling (by the way I have to do this for EVERY new clip i put on the timeline is there a way to make DO NOT RESAMPLE a default?)

The latest Sony Vegas 9.0d 64-bit version works fine with Windows 7 as long as you are using 720 60p GH1 files. This is just from my initial testing though, maybe there is some bugs I don't know about. 9.0c won't work at all with GH1 files so you really have no choice.
