Trivial But Frustrating SD Card Playback Via Blu-Ray Player

I started experimenting with HMC40 modes and settings and recorded 4 clips April 29. Plugged SD card into Panasonic Blu-Ray player and it showed a nice list of clips 1 through 4 including modes recorded in. Made it very easy to select and play clips for comparison--unlike playing clips in camera it showed and would play all different modes (1080i/30, 1080p/30,1080p/24, 720p/60),

Today May 5 I recorded 4 more clips with different settings on same SD card and plugged card into Blu-Ray player. However, I only got a list of the April 29 clips--I had expected a list showing April 29 clips and May 5 clips. I verified the clips were in fact recorded and if I let Blu-Ray play through the last April 29 listed clip it will then continue playing the May 5 clips. I pushed all the buttons (menu, top menu, skip, etc) on Blu-Ray remote but no joy.

I have workarounds to select and play clips (i.e. play via HDMI output from camera), but it was so convenient to just plug the SD card into Blu-Ray player and see a list of different clips that I could choose from. So I am wondering if there is something I should have done with time code or something when I shot clips on a different date so that the Blu-Ray player would "recognize and list" the May 5 clips as well as April 29 clips? Or is this just an inherent thing when playing SD cards via Blu-Ray player? I did not notice this before, but tonight verified the same thing happens when I play another card I recorded to previously (was not trying to do comparisons on that card).
