You forgot the last part:

DISCLAIMER: May cause skin rash. Do not use this tripod you if have high blood pressure or have a heart condition.

Re: Tripods

May also cause explosive bowel movements and an inability to control them.

Still, it looks remarkably like my tripod.

Re: Tripods

Have you checked your inventory lately, maybe it IS your tripod.

By the way, that picture shows the tripod at actual size which is convenient for travel.

Re: Tripods

..good grief.. you guys just reminded me of this piece of paper that i found in this ratty old binder i pulled out of a box when my wife and i were cleaning our closet out.. it was an old sign that i had on my door when i lived at my parents home and was in middle school or something..

it said:

"DANGER ! do not enter. subterranian Egyptian landmines may explode causing fits of vomiting and/or the runs. do not touch door knob because it is coverd with the sweat of 1,000 cheeto eating greasy people.. thank you for your attention.. be cool."

needless to say i stuck it back in the binder, and put it ack away so i could laugh again another day...

Re: Tripods

The explosive bowel movement comment is quoted from a real commercial for one of those "eat fat but don't get fat" pills. It was a couple of years ago, and it wasn't around for very long. But I remember thinking that it took a set to air that disclaimer.

The 525 MVB w/ 503 head is a really sweet set-up - with the 3198 Cine Dolly Deluxe, it's twice as sweet.
