Tripod thread size on DVX100b?

I am aware that the tripod mounting on the DVX100b has been improved. However, has the thread size remained the same as the 100a or do I need to order a new tripod adaptor plate for my tripod?
I cannot find this information in any of the Panasonic literature. It will be in the Instruction Manual, but I haven't got the 100b yet.
