What tripod do you use with a HDR FX1?
Are you happy with your choice?

And the Sony VCT-1170RM, someone have one? Whats yours reviews?

What budget range do you want to stay within? One of the best tripod's for the money on the market right now is the Cartoni Focus (~$1,300).... holds from 2-22 lbs.... has continuously variable fluid damping system.

In a lower budget range (<$500) I would take a look at one of the Manfrotto Systems...

I own a Bogen tripod, the legs are model 3001pro 3126, I dont feel the need for the 501 just in case anyone says so, I dont need a tripod head that supports 11 pounds.
