tripod mount lens alignment

Can't seem to find these- can an AF100 owner confirm the following:

1) is the 1/4 20 tripod mount in line with the lens, or is it off-set like the HMC150?
2) is the focus assist feature "peaking in red" occur in both the viewfinder and LCD
3) is the focus assist feature "peaking in red" occur over a color image (or does it turn B&W)?
4) can the focus assist feature "peaking in red" be output through the HDMI out (for use with external monitors)?
5) I can't find the onboard fixed mic in any photos (inside the lcd panel the audio input switches show (INT L and INT R)
6) is the focus/iris remote port compatible with the same remotes used on the HMC150's focus/iris port?

thanks (and yes I am downloading the manual for more info) :)

6) is the focus/iris remote port compatible with the same remotes used on the HMC150's focus/iris port? DON'T KNOW

Hope that helps, though I do not have an HMC

good to know-

a couple more questions (to snp or anyone else)

... I have been reading reviews of people saying it's "plasticky", but unedcuated people have been saying that about certain panna pro models for years. Is the shell of the AF100 the same magnesium alloy that Panna's been using for years on their pro models? My HMC150 sounds plasticky, but I know the shell is actually metal.

and is the OIS internal to the camera (meaning the lens doesn't have to have stabilization). The manual indicates this but I just wanted to confirm with someone who uses older manual lenses

thanks again...

Focus is certainly the hardest thing to nail in HD filming and a number of the focus aids on the AF-100 cameras do not infact output to an external HDMI monitor.
The 'peaking in red' on my AF-101 does not and the zebras don't either. I use a Cineroid EVF fed from the HDMI and luckily it has good red peaking and zebras...but not both at once alas!
This leads, in my case, to having to monitor both the LCD for it's zebras and the Cineroid for peaking, as the Cineroid gives the best indication of focus.
The AF-101's peaking isn't as strong as the Cineroids and the later also has an instant switch to see 1:1 pixel mapping, to further confirm focus.
I think that most agree the little EVF on the back end of the camera is like looking down a drainpipe at a distant TV!
The OIS switch on the camera is I think currently redundant. I think I'm right in saying only lenses with built in OIS are currently able to produce stabilisation with the camera.
A great camera for the money though!

yea- I figured that since there was a menu setting for sending the display info out to a external monitor (battery life/audio levels/recording time) that maybe the red peaking outline might get sent to. Regarding the OIS- wishful thinking I guess to have stabilization in cam even when using my old Canon FD lenses. Maybe in a firmware upgrade? (just kidding Barry).

does anyone know if this adapter allow the control of iris and focus from the camera body?
