I'm not sure if this is the correct section but i'm not sure where else to post it. Anyways, i just got a 501 head with 190xb legs. The problem that i have is that when i try to turn to the left.. it unscrews. I have tried adjusting the nob under the camera and don't have any luck so am i doing something wrong? It works if i go very slowly but i film skateboarding so i need fast movement.

sounds to me that the set screws that attach the head to the legs have come loose.

i think your legs may have a an extendable center post. raise the center post high enough that you can see the underside of the head. there will be a few screws around the perimeter. grab a screwdriver and check that they are all snug
