Tripod Head Capacity for AF100?

Tripod heads seem to come in 11-13 pound (FSB6/Vinten Blue, etc) or 20-23 pound (FSB8, Vinten 5AS, etc.) capacity ratings.

An AF100 (2.5#) with stills lens (1.5#), rails (1#), FF (1#), mattebox (2.5#), batteries (1#), monitor (1#), misc cables, filters, etc (.5#) comes in at about 11 pounds or so, just at the high end of the smaller heads.

Which capacity head are people choosing to support a configuration like this? Thanks much.

My 2 cents...

Use the biggest / heaviest head available always. Too big, heavy is better than too small / light.

Inertia, momentum, friction, stiction and top quality head engineering are factors to consider.

You can always load up the weight if necessary but you cant beef up a head that is too light
