Tripod for HVX205a

Hey everyone,

Can anybody tell me if the Bescor TH-770 would be a suitable tripod for my hvx205a? Given the price, it must not be professional grade, but at this point I'm just looking for something that can perform basic functions (decent panning & tilting). I'm not ready to spend 1-2K on a superior tripod yet.

Also, assuming the TH-770 can handle my hvx, is this tripod too flimsy to handle a lens adapter if I decide to get one. Or will that require a better tripod?

Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks!

p.s. I apologize if this post is miscatergorized but I could not find a forum specific to tripods

ive never heard of ANYONE here using a bescor tripod. and i wouldnt even consider a tripod and head combo that cost 1/7 of what a respectable head costs. id say youd be better off finding a libec or maybe a used manfrotto

but hey, at $150 what do you have to lose. if it works for you, GREAT. if not, it only cost you $150 to find out

: )
