I'd love to throw in my opinion but fairly useless because I have only used one out of the five that you are asking about.

I've only used the Manfrotto 501HDV head on a nice set of discontinued legs and I've loved it. I thought the head moved very smoothly and fluidly and was a pleasure to use (as I would hope any "fluid head" would). Because I don't actually own the head/legs I usually use, I am actually starting to think about buying myself a 501 head without necessarily researching all of the other options, if that says anything about how much I enjoyed it. Unfortunately I am not an expert and haven't been able to at least try all of those others that you've mentioned.

Hope that gives you at least something to think about/somewhere to start!

The vinten pro 5 and bogen 501 are the same thing, as is the pro 6 and 503. And i wouldn't get either of them to be honest. The LS22 would probably work great, even though it's fixed drag. Don't underestimate it just cause it's cheaper, it's definitely a decent tripod, i've got a TH-950DV which is basically a LS22 head on a cheaper set of legs and it works fine for me. That's even cheaper, but i wouldn't buy if if you plan on using it at full height all the time, I got it because i knew i wouldn't need it to be really heavily constructed when almost all the time I only use it with 1 stage extended out.

i own a manfrotto hdv503, but the pan and tilt is not that smooth if compare to seceed. go tho shop to have a try with ur camera , zoom to maximum and try.
hope it help.
thanks
