So i have seen at a few concerts people filming with they're xh-a1 or vx2100 and they are using huge tripods that get like over 6' tall or around 6' tall. What a good one to look at to get the camera over head hight???
Well its really based upon the legs you choose. I have manfrotto 501 head with 3046 legs which allows me to extend the legs and then crank the center shaft up to around 10 feet. If you want to go higher your gonna need to choose the right legs. Which can get pricey based on material
Try an o'connor tripod with a model 30, 50, or 100 head. I have a pair of bolex legs, and an oconnor model 30 head, and it can easily go up to 7 feet without any shake. You could probably find a set like that for under 300 bucks. BTW, oconnor heads are one of the best in the world, and the model 100 is AWESOME
