i tought i'd share a video with you to have some input to what to work on for some next one.

i'm kinda shy postin this because this forum as plenty of talent but i take a chance. it was filmed using a sketchy tripod.

give me some feedback

Nice man!

The footage looked good, nice colors and focus (too bad the compression ruins it all a bit, but that can't be helped much without posting a large file).

I'm jealous too, my friends and I skateboarded all through middle school and high school, always talked about a skate road trip but have still never gone through with it, i'll bet it was a blast.

Don't be too nervous about posting footage, I've been a member on this site for 2 years and still consider myself a bit of a newbie, but everyone has been at your point at one time or another, and everyone here is super friendly and helpful in my experiences.

Good stuff though

The beginning was real nice. Love the changing DOF. I guess for your next video get as dynamic as you can with your shots with different angles that are outside the box. Thats how I generally approach a video shoot when shooting sports and such.

May I ask who is the artist of the song. I loved it. Album?

Thanks

nice video, i took a similiar trip last year to ride bmx, philly -> nyc -> boston -> portland -> Quebec city -> Montreal -> back to philly

nice riding.

the song is don't look back by telepopmusik and the album is angel milk.

i heard philly was really good for street. we didn't rode much street in boston because it was late and nothing was enough lit to shoot. if you ever come back to montreal let me know, it's my hometown.

More!

That was great, man. What settings/filters/post work did you go with? Especially on those night time driving shots (2:44-2:47).

my setup is stock lens with this scene file. with the scene file around these...i dont remember exactly as i got the cam stolen...but i got a new one.
