FEATURE: Trip - feature film

Group of four friends Thomas, Lucy, Daniel and his pregnant girlfriend Veronica are heading out on a trip to the nature. They drive through woods, while a girl crosses their way. They hit the girl because of Daniel's inattention.
She dies at the moment because of injuries.

Signal (reception) doesn't work in woods, so the gang walks for help. While wandering through deep woods none of them have a clue into what kind of situation has the weekend trip got them. They find themselves in a time-loop with paradoxes, that none of them at first realised. Daniel subsequently realises that only thing he want is to save his baby and make sure this trip would never happen again. He lives through death of his friends, girlfriend and baby repeatedly.

While trying to change the past, he alternates presence and creates new future. He goes through several parallel universes existing in different time levels and tries to deliver his friend a message, that would avert from tragic end of their short life.

Our Story

My name is Petr Zacharias and I come from the Czech Republic, where would also like to make this film project. I am a freelance cinematographer and film director, who tries to shoot his own movies with a friend - also called Petr. Until now I've managed to cover expenses of my smaller film projects by myself, but now I'm asking YOU for help.

Our composer, Karel Antonín, is one of the best in the Czech Republic.
He won an award for best music composition on Irish international film festival and took a first place in competition Game developers Session 9 for best composition

In our team is also graphic artist Martin Srnka who made the poster and journalist Denisa Gumbirova.

The Impact

We hope, that our project will make people think about big unanswered questions such as time travelling, grandfather paradox, time-loops, parallel universes. Are they real or not? Is it even possible? Maybe not now, but who knows what future'll bring...

We need your help to collect $28.000 to make this film possible. Your money will be used for travel expenditures, some equipment rental, costumes, make-up, props, cast and crew accommodation.
