What is the purpose of channel trimming. If you go to the menu and go to audion input you will see a channel trimming setting. You can choose many different amounts starting at -11dbu and all the way up to -65dbu.
The reason i am asking is because when i was using a radio mic with a lapel the audio was very soft i played with the dbu settings and managed to get a louder level but it became distorted.
I know on the pd150 there was a magic button called mic attenuation, could this channel trimming be relaed to that?
