I have nailed this problen down and it seems to be in the playback. During playback the sound will cut out and the video will look trashy. If I stop and replay it will work fine.
How can I clean playback heads and are they different from the recording heads.
Quite sure you are thinking of the same heads here. Considering that people try to avoid the capture from DVX to NLE by introducing other low end pana cams i am pretty sure even on the play back you put wear on the heads.
