Is it wise to transport my DVX in a vertical position in a Kata HB-207 backpack? I was just wondering if it would adversely affect the camera by doing so.
Should I transport it with lens facing up or down?
In January I bought a Petrol backpack-style carrying case for my DVX100a. I carried it around Boston for about a week, and have since made it my primary carrying bag. I always lay it on its left side with the lens facing down. I figured this would reduce stress on the viewfinder, and also not damage the shotgun mic attachment.
It's been a few months now and so far so good. I realize we don't have the same bag though. So I guess the situation might be different.
