Nobody has made Los Angeles look as realistic as in Transparent - not in a long time. I like the way it's shot. Plus, the acting is pretty outstanding. All in all I'm very impressed by how strong a show Amazon picked. I mean, if Netflix and Amazon are supposed to bring something new to the table compared to the old network TV and cable studios (like HBO), then I feel Netflix has proved itself with "Narcos" and Amazon with "Transparent". I mean, that's not a bad batting average if you think about how many shows are piloted by network TV and how many go on to be winners - by that metric Netflix is doing pretty well, and I'm really surprised by Amazon... to be honest, I don't know why, but I had really low expectations of Amazon, but they sure proved me wrong. And again, I think "Transparent" was shot really nicely. How do you guys feel about this?
