Transferring Projects Between Mac and PC

I have Avid Xpress Pro 5.5.1 installed on both my Mac Powerbook G4, and my Dell PC. I have my footage on an external hard drive. If I want to edit on the G4, and then at home edit on the Dell (Since it's faster), is all I need to do is copy the Project folder? Also the hard drive is formated for Mac, so I am not sure about how it will doc on the PC.

You can buy MacDrive to get your PC to see the Mac formatted drive, but in my experience you can't edit footage on an external drive through MacDrive. What you can do is copy the footage itself to the PC and then all you'll have to do is copy the project folder.

If you have your media in both places then the project will have no problems linking to it on each machine.
