Hi! I'm a new student so please forgive my ignorance. I dont as yet have FCP on my laptop but am needing to transfer and preview rushes before I get to an editing suite. Is there any such downloadable program that will allow me to do so on mac OS X Lion 10.7.4?

xdcam browser. downloadable from sony.

i don't know if you've dealt with these files before, but hopefully you won't be offended if i mention that the bpav folders need to be kept intact in order to extract video files. it's a good idea to keep those intact bpav folders archived in their original form, independent of the video files that fcp extracts/imports to work with.
