Transfer to VHS

Bag of Douche
I'm going in for an interview for an arts school here in Minnesota this saturday, and I am needing to do a quick transfer of a pool of my work to DVD/VHS - I would prefer to do both just to lessen chance of an erroneous problem.

I will be compressing for the DVD (mpeg2) but for the VHS what steps do I have to take for this to work out?

Thanks

All footage shot 60i on minidv

Chain the VHS to the RCA jacks on your camera, plug a monitor on the VHS. Print something to tape, and record the signal coming through your DVX. Do not forget to record the bars (20-30s) from your NLE so you can adjust the picture of te displayong monitor accordingly. There is really no secret at all.

If you are really tight with VHS VTRs, you can print a DVD and copy a VHS the DVD, but I guess I'd rather do the first.

yeah monte, RCA out from your mini DV to your VCR. like Tabubkin said, its fairlel simple.

Another option would be to burn on cd either as a QT or Windows Media Player.

Wow I'm retarded - I've even done this before... guess i forgot - probably from all the crack. Thanks
