Transfer from VHS to Mini DV tape

When transferring from VCR to The HVX200 i've made the cable connections. I can play the video in the VCR and see it on the camera screen. When I push the 2 record buttons the camera begins recording but automatically stops after about 40 seconds. I can't figure-out what's causing that. Any help would be great. Thanks.
 
I can't think of how this can happen but maybe is worth a shot making sure that both speeds match. Like the one coming from the VCR and the one your camera is set to record. I think they should both be "SP"
