Transfer from PC to HDCAM

Hello all,
I am almost done with my movie ASH WEDNESDAY, and now I'm stuck here wondering HOW DO I GET IT FROM MY AVID TO AN HDCAM TAPE!
What is the best way?
I can get it to DV and uprez to HDCAM, but that would be a shame since the movie is in 720p...

The HDCAM needs to be 1080i/59.94

Should I talk to a transfer house, to see if they can import a 720p quicktime file into their AVID or what?

Any suggestions?
 
I just went through the same thing with my short. I needed to transfer it to HDCAM for a film festival. Personally I would much rather go out to D5 because that format can do 720p 24P. But for whatever reason FF like to use HDCAM. Anyway I did the transfer at Fotokem, which is here in Burbank. To do the transfer they needed to uprez the 720p footage to 1080 and add a 3:2 pulldown. It sounded like a real pain in the ass but it got done. They also cut me a really good deal. PM me and if you want the email of the guy I went through.
