transfer 8mm film to HD

Hi guys,
I used the search engine and it came with nothing pertinent.
I will transfer some 8mm and s8mm old home film to HD with my HPX170.
I was going to simply project it to the screen and capture it. I will adjust the shutter speed and test of course. But anyone has tips that can help me achieve the best results before I start? Like anyone already know what to teak in my setups?

I have one of their workprinter units and it works great. You can send your film in to them for a great price on a nice transfer as long as time is not a big issue.
