In response to the actor question, the lead is Jimmy Drain, the suicidal guy is Matt Darren, and the funeral director is T. David Rutherford (who I may point out is not the same David Rutherford from the oh-so-fantastic gay thriller flick "F**k My Face". Yes that is a real movie. No, I have not seen it.)

Cool concept...hard to say much from the small amount of footage..my first impressions were that lighting seemed to be a slight issue and if I had the mini35 I believe there would be some serious DOF happening...didn't see it here. I suspect you've got it covered in the full version though. I liked the soundtrack.

We used the extra DOF afforded with the adaptor in other shots of the film not present in the trailer. I found that the adaptor added a nice quality to the footage even in shots where the DOF was larger, and we chose to create our shots without overemphasizing the DOF. I did not want the film to feel like we were trying to show off the equipment as opposed to telling a story.
As concerns rental prices, we own the camera, we rented the the mini 35mm package from Boston Camera. We got the adaptor, a zeiss superspeed set of 5 lenses, and a follow focus unit for $515/day, although we did spend a few hundred on insurance as well as a bit on shipping. Hope that helps.

haha im just playin, i thaught it was great, and since you want critisizm the thing that i thaught could be a bit better is maybe if the background music was just a little louder, i dunno there was just somthing weird about it. idk thats just my opinion. good luck with that.
