Hmm. The first shot (and the nice, scratchy music track) had me very intrigued, but then everything after that looked pretty bad, and then the shot of him following the girl made it interesting again. I almost stopped watching halfway through, so maybe if you tighten it up a bit and have the weird "reveal" (I don't really know what was revealed, but it's certainly intriguing) come a little sooner, it would be a little more effective. All in all, I wouldn't watch the film based on this trailer alone, but I would definitely watch another trailer, which means you've given me reason to believe the film MIGHT be good, I just need a little more proof of that before I commit time and possibly money to it.

Everything can always be better but this is one of the most unique and artistic trailers I have seen on dvxuser. Certainly it's not perfect and the domestic scenes are the weakest shots but they are fine. The last few scenes are excellent- especially the lady crossing in front of the car and the licking. The pacing of the trailer is excellent, music perfect. The final title with "Sidney" and his head is really cool. I guess it feels more like a teaser than a finished trailer though. A bit more drama in the trailer would help. I would have liked to see a close up of his partner abusing him angrily as she leaves him or something. Anyway, just thinking outside...

Good on you lfcchard for shooting a feature! And one that looks interesting and offbeat. I'm jealous.

My only truly negative comment might be on the production company name. It just seems a bit too hipster to me. I don't care if a film cost 1k or 100k, I care if it's good or not.

But please come back and update this thread with how it's going etc. It's not often I see a film on here that looks like the dark kind of twisted thing I like to make and watch.
