trailer for my short documentary

Nice stuff, only comment I can say is the audio levels during the interviews are hard to hear, they compete too much with the music.

Overall, looks interesting, and I'm not even into puppets. ;)

thanks... I think the compression during the upload onto myspace screwed up my audio but I will go back over it again.

Yeah, not to many people like puppets, but I think thats the great thing about this film. It pushes the limits of the viewer. Luckily out of 27 hours of footage I got enough cool footage to make a short 21 min film! lol

yeah know... I also think its funny how on this site that if you post something unbelievable you get tons of responses but if you are a first time filmmaker asking for input you only get one or two responses.

I really want to post things on here to get a yes or no answer. Its been hot 38 times since yesterday but only one person was kind enough to past a comment. Yet, if I posted a repeat thread about letterbox versus squeeze, I'd have 180 replies complaining about, "didnt you do a search before you posted??"

I want to learn from everyone on this site. A negative response is a good response. If you view this... give a comment!!!

thanks

just came across this. those puppets are kinda freaky to me but in general i like how it was shot. especially like the shot with some1 in the spotlight in the dark

Nice work. Quality looked good even with the compression. Nice shots. Did you have any lighting backstage?

I grew up in Pittsburgh and spent college listening to Toad so I'd love to see your film!

Keep making films. I know it's hard to get some feedback but just keep moving forward.

I loved the quality of the look.
Grrr...had to watch without sound...BUT, the steady, unobtrusive editing and the great lighting and look held my attention as you seem to be focusing on letting the subjects themselves be the story.
I think you have made something that is NOT media pollution.
~Cheers

Looks interesting, I can appreciate the work that goes into puppet things, I like seeing films that use the puppets and miniature things instead of the 3d, like the old star wars movies, and the Jim Henson puppets, its more believable to me than most 3d special effects.

I agree that the speakers voices are difficult to hear, I'm unable to tell if it is because of the music being too loud or the way it was recorded.
