Hey guys,

Been lurking here for a long time. Just finished the trailer for RIDDEN, a mid-length dark thriller. We shot it in 4 days all on the Z1U. No CC included on the shots. Straight up HDV for now. Enjoy.

Is there a direct link for the video file? when the video page loads and starts to auto play that QT file (on my system anywayz), it crashes.

thx,

jg

Wow... this is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!

I decided i'd see if I could watch the video on my iBook.... but the it wouldn't let me... so I'm like... Okay, maybe I just need to update my software apps... so I run the Update Manager thingy, still can't watch the clips.

So now I'm thinking... lets try watching some videos from Apples QT site, surely they'd work. NOPE. Apparantly I need to upgrade my QT Player from v6 to v7. Simple? Sure... if I don't mind PURCHASING a new operating system... so that I can then install v7 of QT on my system. Cool eh? Wow... Apple is simply amazing!!! I guess what they mean by simple to use... is "give us a hundred bux once a year for our Annual OS, and we'll make life simple for you" :)

I can still watch older QT format files... but nothing current I guess.

Well... i'm going to shut my now "official desktop mp3 player, aka, iBook" down, and going back to my PC. Sorry for the rant :)

cheers,

jg

im getting the crash too. ON my pc though. Can you post a direct link instead? :/

Yeah... it only crashes on my PC... doesn't crash on my iBook (just won't let me play it all on it)
(I'm begining to think we lost this user?)

The first time I tried the link, I crashed, I just tried it again in this order and it worked fine.

www.rytonepictures.com >> "movies" >> click "Ridden" on the left side on the torn paper >> scroll down and click "Ridden Trailer"

Some of the shots looked a little cheesy, but overall it looked good. Nice scare spot in there too, I didnt see it coming!
