The director finally gave me the okay to publish this today, so I'm glad to finally put it out here. In September, I went to Ireland to shoot "Destination: Rossport," part of the director's series on globalization, investigating the effects of multi-national corporations on different places in the world. It's the 2nd in a trilogy with plans to shoot the third in Vietnam in a year or two.
We've got a few different parties interested in distribution, so we're excited - it's not up to the director to finish and move from there.
I shot every thing on an HVX w/ a firestore and a Rifa light that showed up only a few days before we had to leave (airlines misplaced the luggage) so 90% of the material was shot with just natural light. Anyways, here's the trailer. I had a lot of fun and it's branched off in to a couple more inquiries to go shoot some other documentaries for people internationally, so I'm hoping to really keep pushing this angle.
