Touring Footage and Weddings HPX?

So i am gonna be a full time touring band requiring pictures to be taken for our myspace as well as tour blogs and all sorts of small videos.

I also have started to do video at weddings as a business with my DVX/

Im gonna be selling my DVX in the next month and looking for an HPX
OR
Also selling my canon 40D as well as the DVX and getting the Canon 5D Mark II.

I already have a rode NT1 and senheiser G2 for the weddings. Whats your guys opinion??

right now, you have to keep in mind:
a video camera is a video camera.
a still camera is a still camera.

though the 5D CAN do nice video. its not advisable to try to use it as a workhorse video camera.

i say, get you an hvx200a or hpx170 and a shure vp88 mic and you'll be set for live events.
