She spent 4 days in the vet, and then one day hopped on her feet and has been fine and spoiled rotten ever since.

There is no doubt who the Alpha dog is here. I have no trouble at all with 2 dogs or more, and it really isn't any harder than one. I guess it's all in how you handle them.I got 2 dogs for the same reason - to keep each other company - it is not twice the work - it is actually in my opinion about 3 times the work. Becuase you are competing with them for attention and have to "convince" 2 dogs that you are the alpha.

There are several methods, two of which include nipping the dog's ear, and mounting it. Of course, it would be just as easy to watch the Dog WhispererCan anyone suggest good resources where I can learn how exactly to 'teach' the dogs who is the 'Alpha' in our pack?
I know The Dog Whisperers book was mentioned earlier - and I"m going to check that out. Any other suggestions?
