GH2 toshiba thrive tablet as external monitor?

i dont know where to start in Pana or Canon forum or dedicated camcorders. I own several camera brands. Is this even possible? The tablet has a full size hdmi and usb and a mini usb. Im using this amazing tablet to dump and preview on the go. I had just contacted Toshiba in US and I'm still waiting for the reply.

Can you test it? I would guess that the HDMI is output only. If it does accept live input they will find a new user base!

I wish someone with a programing knowledge can make an app for this. this tablet has a vast amount of potential but it needs someone smarter than me to open it up.
Isn't HDMI a two way input.
 
there is a 99.99% chance that this plug is output only.
Few reason:
- a HDMI I/O is more expensive than a simple output. And the people using it are too few to justify such price bump.
- Isn't HDMI a two way input. => Yes the plug is the same on both side but the chip and what happens behind is different.
- even the iPad is able to output HDMI through an adapter, but you can't input signal.
