Hey everyone, it's been a while since I last posted, because I've been working hard and keeping busy as the camera operator (with a DVX100A) on a couple of TV shows that air all across Canada on Global.
Anyway, this Spring I'll be shooting for the second season of a series that will... well, here's the official blurb:
"In the Can with JR DIGS" season 2 will be airing nationally on Global television this Summer. We are looking for aspiring and unknown filmmakers who will be given two days to shoot a movie: a short film that will be featured at the end of each episode. Short films will be no more than 10 minutes in length, with the rest of each half-hour episode consisting of behind-the-scenes footage of the filmmakers over the two days of production. Contact us at shortfilms@jrdigs.com for more details.
I didn't make it out to the last Toronto meeting, but I'm hoping this will get word out to my fellow DVX'ers in the Toronto area who would be interested in making a short film for national television!
