Wild Imagination Films would like to announce being selected for the Best of Bloodshots 2007. We were screened on Friday at midnight along with the other finalists. This is a pretty cool thing for a bunch of people who had never worked together before and for some, had never worked on a film project. For those unfamiliar, Bloodshots is an annual Austin event. 48hours to make a horror film. Our sub-genre was Japanese Horror, our line of dialog was "Is that thing real?" and our prop was any mid-evil weapon. Everyone had the same line and the common prop was corn.
Torikorosu is Japanese for "haunted to death." One of the crew did some sort of internet search (for cool Japanese phrases?!?!?!" and found this word. We had a blast doing the film, no major problems, handed in the finished disc in a case, with an original cover with 40 minutes to spare.
Watch it here http://wildimaginationfilms.com/video/Torikorosu.html
It'll start acting up towards the end, but if you pause it for a minute, the buffering finishes. (By the way, if anyone knows how to fix this....)
We won't find out who is winning this contest until later this week. I'll update and let ya'll know.
