Top zoom rockers.

[Omedave]

Hello,

The zoom rockers on the top handle of the DVX200 dont do anything on my camera. They haven’t since it came out of the box. Is it that I have to turn it on somewhere or is mine just broken or something?

[Larry Chapman]

Menu->SW SETUP-> SUB ZOOM

You can set the speed or "OFF". If it's not OFF, then I suspect it's broken.

Thanks Larry. I will try this as soon as I get home. I hope Its turned off now.

You might also consider one of these for your DVZ200, we always use ours with a VariZoom controller that can be set to manually control everything including the f stop. This is the controller we bought. http://www.varizoom.com/product-p/vzrockpzfi.htm This is a link to details on it’s use. http://www.varizoom.com/v/vspfiles/downloadables/VZ-Rock-PZFI.pdf
