Just for fun, here's a quick scene from my screenplay 6-sting which was a top ten finalist in the Creative Screenwriting contest recently. Top ten is pretty good, considering they had a turnout of nearly 4,000 entrys.

When reading this scene, keep in mind that the character Vince, is a real ladies man. Almost like a modern day Don Juan.

Here it is:

Code:
               VINCE

pays for a drink at the bar. A girl with short cropped black
hair approaches and stands beside him. She looks just like a
               go-go girl.

The BARTENDER hands GO GO GIRL a drink. She tosses a five on
the counter for him and turns to leave.

Vince catches her eye in passing.

               She looks at him. Hesitates.

               Vince doesn't miss a beat.

                                   VINCE
That smell. What are you wearing?

                                   GO GO GIRL
                         It's --

                                   VINCE
                         Mmmmm...
                             (leaning in)
                         ...that smells sooo good...

Vince brushes her hair aside. He sniffs slowly, moving up
               from her shoulder to ear.

               He speaks slowly and intimately.

                                   VINCE
You know, people don't pay enough
                         attention to smell. But animals,
before they mate, will always smell
                         each other. Evolution has hard
wired us to respond to certain
things. For example, you are wired
                         to respond...when...

Vince leans in even closer, smelling her even more
erotically. She tilts her head back as Vince's lips glide
               along her neck.

                                   VINCE
...Ever notice how lions, when they
mate, bite and tug at the ends of
each other's mane? It's like when
someone pulls the back of your
                         hair.

Vince runs his hand up the back of her neck and grabs a
fistful of hair at the roots and pulls it gently downwards.

                                   GO GO GIRL
                         Mmmmm....

                                   VINCE
Not many people know, but the most
sensitive places on the body are
places that are usually hidden from
contact with the air, like the back
                         of your elbow...
                             (Vince demonstrates on her
                              using small, circular
                              motions)
                         There are millions of sensitive
                         nerve endings here that release
                         endorphins when properly
                         stimulated.

Vince takes her arm, bends it little, and erotically bites
the area on the opposite side of the elbow. She shivers,
               wets her lips.

                                   VINCE
But do you know what the best thing
                         in the world is?
                             (looks at her)
                         A...bite...right...here...

Vince points to the side of his neck.

                                   VINCE
                         Bite me.

               She does...

               ...and yes...finally...slowly...he may...if he wants...and if
               she's ready..............kiss.

               And they do.

Thanks Sean.

This script was actually written with independent production in mind...that is, on a budget that I can afford. I wrote everything in this script around what I can achieve financially and creatively. Now all I have to do is get my hands on an EX1 (or EX3) and Letus, and away I go!

Already have the tripod, mics, lighting, etc. Right now I'm working on assembling a good creative team, and the rest of the equipment.

Congrats on the contest placing! Tough odds and you broke through.

A friend of mine had a similar placing at Scriptapooza and was able to parlay it in to greener pastures. Good luck!
