FS7: Top plate dimensions

Does anyone know what the measurements are for the screw holes on the top of the camera? I'm hoping the F5/F55 top plates will fit, but that might be too much common sense for sony.

Hi All,

My question is what happens to the electronic items in/on sony's handle when it's removed/replaced? There's a zoom demand and a start/stop button up there - hopefully it's just a plug that is separated and we go on our merry way, but has anyone seen the top without the handle?

These button will of course be gone with the wind/handle.

But there are serveral other buttons that cover the function.
If you need a handle with rec/zoom function, just stay with Sony's...

I don't need/want those buttons, I just want to make sure that handle comes off cleanly.

It does come off cleanly. Mating connectors when attached.
