Ok I know this video is like really really rough. I didn't do anything but splice it in together with the music. I gotta do all the color correction and get the artifacts and others out of the picture in certain areas. But this is my first shoot with the Panasonic DVX100a camera and I just have to show the rough footage. I dont care, its a beautiful camera. And I want you guys to see what it can do with just the first day shooting it and not even knowing anything about it and throwing it on the timeline. It looks great, we didn't use any lighting in most of the video so Im gonna have to try something out in post work. But we will see. We didn't even know what we were really gonna shoot the whole day, just shot crap. It wasn't until now, while in post that I figured out that it would be funny to make it the way I did. Let me know what you think. But know that I didn't even begin to edit it.

Skettalee, it's not bad work at all. As you've already said, it's a rough edit. I really think that open shot should be removed, it's far too shakey.

You can really see the quality from the dvx in raw 24p mode without any quirks, that's what I like about it. Good work. :)

Wish we had a steadicam or something for it!

Its just like www.netflix.com but for video games. Its where you would add games to a list to rent and they send like 3 at a time in the mail. You keep it as long as you want. I never used gamefly.com but i used netflix.com

AND ITS SLOWER THAN CRAP TO GET THE MOVIES IN!!!

i use netflix and i love it. i love it to death. i have 3 out at a time, so i dont mind about the waits. it usually only 2 days for me anyway

feels nice, got the mood sketta! what was that vignetting at the corners in two of the shots, a rain hood?

Yeah it was a rain hood. My friend that was shooting didn't see it. Go figure. We weren't gonna really use the footage for anything.

don't worry man ... you'll have your camera soon. just keep doing what you're doing. and I think most of us feel the same way about our DVX's ... we love them too.

OMG Crazy! Cause everytime I watch it I point at that same shot and say, "I LOVE THIS SHOT!"
