So we started on a short comedy this last week after ironing out a script everyone liked. I kinda felt like kicking out another project before heading for school as kind of a confidence booster. The last year that I spent active in theater really really helped with the direction process, and I'd recommend that big time to anyone looking for experience but happens to be stranded in the midwest. here are some lo-res grabs with a rough draft of the CC I'm leaning towards. Like I said, its a comedy with no particularly signature visual style as far as color goes, which made the CC a little challenging; trying to find what can subtly enhance a picture without stylizing it heavily.

we're about 40% done shooting, and I'll definetly edit and post a cut when it develops.
 
Okay, after much delay, here I am with 75% of the film done and cut.

not too many issues on the set, and i'm pretty happy with the way its coming along.

here is a link to the first 3.5 minutes of the film that i've gotten together in a rough cut thus far. I figured I'd post to show the refining process and get a lil feedback.
