Had a great time shooting this, an ode to our love of Lara Croft and a celebration of the new game :-)

I watched it. Not too bad :) Your actress reminded me a lot of Jolie in her mannerisms, so that was cool. Thought the sound mix could use a bit more "umph" but overall, cool fanfilm.
 
I liked the feel of it. The actress was very good as Jolie. The guy in the white shirt was great. The location was spectacular. But there was no story. Went thru that cool place and nothing happened? Anti-climatic. Get out the editing scissors. Almost forgot, would Jolie wear that coat? Maybe with the arms cut off. Look forward to seeing more. ;)
 
Ah thanks Sunk, yeah the ending, and film are based on the games rather than the movie, so the ending where she wakes up, is the same as the start of the new, rebooted game :-)
Makes no sense true unless your aware of the new game franchise :-)
 
pretty cool

you had a lot of dramatic angles... if --all-- of the shots were like that it woudlve been awesome

she was under no real threat in the middle... couldve thrown a zombie in those caves or a ghost or trap or rubber bat on a wire or somethin

good stuff tho love the classic cliffhanger ending its like a nod to the old adventure serials

Ah now thats fantastic advice, id always wondered why some of my wides were unsatisfying and you've just nailed it on the head, better, more creative framing, rather than just a tool to set up your space.
