Tom Waits' "Satisfied" Music Video

I absolutely love Tom Waits. But this video is questionable to me...

if this was done on the AF100. The image and quality could've had more justice done to it..

just me though...
 
This edit was heavily degraded, & the only version Tom loved.

Ostensibly we made five music videos that day, but so far this is the one to surface.

BTW, Tom's new album, "Bad as Me" is very good. One of his better ones in a while. If you are a fan, I recommend it.

Ha ha, true! Somehow, I can't imagine immaculately clean digital video for a Tom Waits music video- it's either this or seriously pushed 16mm...

What's working with Jesse Dylan like? Is this his concept, or his and Tom's?
 
yeah, I found Wondros after I asked. What a cool, creative place to work, and great projects, too- loved Lybba.
I hadn't realized Jesse did the F-word piece (I liked his photography, too)

Did Jesse Dylan ever mentioned is father? I imagine that's a thing he must be asked a lot but still...
 
This was shot back in May with a skeleton crew, & I don't remember many of the details.

The shallow DOF was likely shot with the 14-35/2, & the deeper focus was likely the 14-140mm.

Jesse doesn't speak of his father often, & when he does it's usually along the lines any of us would speak of family.
