Tokkina 11-16 v2 and tamron 24-70

Hi,

i'm going to buy two lenses : wide angel and transtandard and i have some question.

1. Some have test the tokina 11-16 v2 vs tokina v1 ? Is there an interested to buy v2

2. I think about the 17-55 is canon or 24-70 tamron, i knox canon is very good but i ca put the tamron on my 5d too, someone have test it ?

The newer version has the Internal Silent Focusing AF Motor. For video, I'm not sure how important that is since most people manual focus. I've got the older version and it's a great lens.
