I have finished reviewing the Tokina 80-200 f2.8 AT-X lens, with the posting here.

I purchased the lens from ebay specifically to review it, shooting lots of video with a 7D and 5D. Some of the footage is shown here.

Here is a prècis:
This Tokina 80-200 ATX is a fast, versatile manual lens, with few optical flaws. Some chromatic aberration and softness, wide open, are the principal issues. Other problems are the weight and lack of image stabilization, virtually requiring a tripod especially at the longest setting. The lens breathes, but not badly, and is not parfocal. On the plus side, the lens is extremely well built, focuses well for video, and has optics unsurpassed for its price.
If you have a chance, please take a look at the review and give your feedback. There are pictures, fun old ads, and video as well. The video was shot around the Loire valley in France. Enjoy!
